The portal makes seniority, retirement, subject, service, and related information easier to search, analyze, and understand.
What is the Portal?

The Seniority Portal is an independent, community-driven initiative that compiles available departmental records and provides informational tools for college teachers across Sindh. It is not an official Government of Sindh website.

Data Source & Authority
The portal uses available official information circulated or published by the College Education Department, Government of Sindh.
The portal does not independently create or modify seniority, approve promotions, determine appointments, determine vacancies, or issue administrative orders.
Where a later or authoritative departmental record differs from information displayed on the portal, the relevant official record should be followed.
Please verify important matters against the latest official departmental record.
Source lists may be revised, corrected, replaced, or supplemented by subsequent official orders or gazettes.
Understanding Seniority Numbers
A Seniority Number is the number assigned to a teacher in a particular source seniority list. A lower number appears earlier in that list.
The portal uses seniority numbers to describe recorded list order and relative position. A seniority number by itself does not determine appointment, posting, promotion entitlement, or any other administrative decision.
About the Developer
A unique intersection of academic academia and enterprise software engineering.
Mohan Lal
Assistant Professor — College Education Department (GoS)
Java Full-Stack Developer • Open Source Engineer
As a member of the same professional community for whom this portal is intended, I developed this project to apply advanced enterprise software engineering scale to a practical information-access need currently faced by fellow college teachers.
Outside of academia, I am a Cloud-Native Software Engineer primarily focused on building highly scalable backend architectures. My enterprise stack relies on Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs, deployed across Docker, Kubernetes & AWS environments.
Open Source Contributions
I actively contribute core bugfixes, regression testing, TCK validation, and asynchronous logic pipelines to critical Jakarta EE standards and Java tooling.
“I believe the best way to become a better engineer is to build real software, solve difficult problems, and contribute heavily to open source. The goal is simple: to make professional information easier to search, understand, compare, and explore.”
