Subject: Request for Grant of 4-Tier Service Structure for Director Physical Education and Librarian, Working in the College Education Department.

The Secretary to Government of Sindh, College Education Department, may kindly refer to his department’s letter No. SO(HE-II)/4-TIER/CED/2023, dated 20.12.2023 on the subject noted above.

2. With the approval of the Competent Authority i.e Chief Minister, Sindh, Finance Department agrees to allow 4-Tier service structure for 332 posts of Director Physical Education and 332 posts of Librarian in ratio of 1:15:34:50 for posts in BPS-20, BPS-19, BPS-18 and BPS-17, respectively, for College Education Department w.e.f 11.12.2023 as per schedule mentioned below:

🏛️ Post-Notification Sanctioned Capacity Update (348 Posts):Following the 2023 notification baseline of 332 posts, sanctioned strength was expanded to 348 posts (209 Male, 139 Female) due to the establishment of new degree colleges across Sindh. As per the official Vacancy Position of Librarians, BPS-17 posts were augmented to 182 posts (109 Male, 73 Female) with 99 total vacancies, while upper tiers remain: BPS-20 (3 posts: 2 Male, 1 Female), BPS-19 (50 posts: 30 Male, 20 Female), and BPS-18 (113 posts: 68 Male, 45 Female).
